Key Account Manager - Valencia

Are you a strategic and driven professional passionate about pharmaceutical sales and market access? IQVIA is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to lead biosimilar product adoption across Eastern Spain, fostering meaningful relationships with hospital stakeholders.

About the role: As a Key Account Manager, you will play an important role in expanding our partners’ biosimilar portfolio in Eastern Spain. You’ll build and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders—including high-cost drug pharmacists, clinicians, and hospital managers—to maximize market penetration and product uptake. Your expertise in strategic account management, contract negotiations, and sales growth will play a critical role in advancing business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Driving Commercial Activities: Manage commercial activities within your specialist area across the Eastern region.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Build trust and collaboration with hospital stakeholders to promote biosimilar adoption.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure decision-makers have all necessary information for maximal adoption and prescribing.
- Market Positioning: Establish our biopharmaceutical client as a trusted partner in the biosimilars/biologics market.
- Data Collection: Gather and report relevant information such as competitor data, treatment patterns, and product prescribing criteria.
- Sales Growth: Drive the achievement of sales and market share growth.

Requisitos del candidato

Licenciado
De 1 a 3 años
Qualifications and Desired Experience:

- Educational background in Life Sciences (e.g., Pharmacy, Biomedical, Medical and Public Health), or a Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Economics, or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, with at least 2-3 years in a pharmaceutical sales role dealing with hospitals specialists and pharmacists in the region.
- Strong background in hospital pharmacy negotiations.
- Expertise in rheumatology, hematology, nephrology, oncology and biosimilars is highly desirable.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English.
- Willingness to travel within Comunidad Valenciana and Balearic Islands.
- Full driving license essential.
